In 2016 Danish pop band, Lukas Graham, and lead singer Lukas Forchhammer skyrocketed to worldwide fame with the composition 7 Years. Director Johannsen had full access to Europe’s biggest export star as he wrestled with stardom at a young age and the notion of “having it all“.

The dream-like career path includes signing to a major international label and a chance to work with the greatest music producers. But a closer, and more intimate look reveals the experiences of a new father at the mercy of the demands of a fickle and high-pressured culture. The international music scene, its fans, and the expectations of the role have the power to transform the lives of its biggest stars but, unchecked, the work can dominate life and prove more of a nightmare than a dream.
